Pleased to Pay for Pregnancy?

Photo by David Topping.We are officially in the third trimester now as we excitedly announce that the 7th Volume of the illustrious Pregnancy Series is now available for purchase. Final Fantasy were kind enough to record Plays to Please for the series and its gorgeous.
On Plays to Please Owen Pallett pays tribute to the songs of Toronto's Alex Lukashevsky and his band Deep Dark United. Deep Dark United's music can be described as...undescribable. But under its waves of hazy unease lay perfectly made songs that Pallett had dreamed of giving a big band treatment to ever since he and Lukashevsky bonded on tour over their mutual love of Louis Prima and Marvin Gaye.
Working with The St. Kitts Orchestra, Pallett gives the songs a huge stage to strut around on and-were it not for the mordant and contemporary wit in the lyrics-you could mistake Lukashevsky's songs for Tin Pan Alley standards. Given that, why not try dropping "I Saved a Junky Once" at your grandmother's birthday this year?
This release is also produced in association with the Blocks Recording Club limited edition 10" vinyl version.
Don't forget that Jib Kidder's All on Yall is still new and totally bumping and that the Parenthetical Girls new album Entanglements which is somewhat of a sister record to Pays to Please is in our distro section.

SPREAD THE WORD
Hello friends,
As you may know, White Fang is planning to tour the U.S. next month. We were relying on the sale of Kyle’s car, a 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier, in order to purchase a van.
Unfortunately, today we were leaving a jam session and the worst thing that could ever happen, did indeed happen.
Kyle, thinking that his car was in reverse, pushed on the gas sending the front of the car straight into the truck parked in front of us. The truck is fine, but Kyle’s car is now, basically, totaled.
The hood is smashed and the radiator is busted. So is the left headlight.
Now, not only do we not have a way to get a van, but we are not going to have almost any money for tour. We were planning to make a profit in the sale of the car and the purchase of the van, in hopes that we would have a tour fund.
Our resolve is as good as ever, but this puts us in a whole other realm of hurt.
We are almost done booking the tour, but now we need to ask anyone who knows anyone for help.
If you have a van, or know someone who has a van, and are willing to let us borrow it for our tour, you will be forever be our savior.
And if you have any donations that you’d like to make, you will get every White Fang album, tape, shirt, etc. for free for life.
Please, please help your band.
I know the world is in shambles right now, with the economy and the state of things in general, but if you can help we will never forget it.

you can never, ever have my money. But I am willing to feed you and smoke you out in SF, where weed rules worlds, an off-putting fact to the more healthy and uptight (or is it upright?) or perhaps the word is FOCUSED persons of the world.
